I'm Hadi Abou Ghazale — a Paris-based filmmaker and VFX compositor who's been chasing the impossible since the age of twelve.

It started with sci-fi shorts shot with my friends and long nights teaching myself After Effects. The real test came with my bachelor's film — asteroids, a spaceship, and three months locked in a room learning the VFX to pull it off. That obsession with making the unreal feel real never left me.

It carried me to ArtFX, where my love for directing and storytelling met my urge to push the technical craft as far as it would go. There I made Macula — the story of a blind person discovering the visual world in all its beauty — and learned what it truly means to collaborate with and lead a team, creatively and technically.

At Light Visual Effects, I composited across wildly different projects — features and series, ads and events, blockbusters and indies — and supervise some of them: shaping bids, talking with clients, and guiding artists toward a shared vision. My passion isn't only VFX, but filmmaking and storytelling as a whole. Calm, curious and ambitious, I care as much about the story a shot serves as the craft behind it — and I do my best work as part of a team.
